This interview is for those who like to keep in touch with up coming product developments in the outdoor industry with a leaning towards the lighter backpacking and hiking equipment.

The Outdoors Station has covered this event for the last 12 years to keep in touch with brands and products to let end users know of subtle changes in design and environmental changes in outdoor manufacture.

In past years the show has been at Friedrichshafen and has now moved to Munich,  which has proved easier to get to. However it appears to be more expensive to attend, both for brands and retailers alike.

Our European correspondent Roman Ackl joins me once again to share his thoughts on the show and to touch base on a few products which caught his eye, most of which fall into the evolution of design rather than revolution.

In this video you will see more information on the following products; Hilleberg 2 Person Anaris, Vaude Lizard Seamless, Big Agnes Tiger Wall Carbon, Thermarest Hyperion Sleep Bag, Big Agnes AXL Air, Thermarest XLite, Thermarest Uberlite, Primus Fire Stick, Rubytec Robusta Coffee Grinder, Rubytec Stainless Steel Coffee Filter, Arcteryx Norvan 2, La Sportiva VK Boa, La Sportiva Jackal, Fjallraven Abisko G1000 Air Stretch, Montane Podium Pull On Pant, Patagonia Elements Innovative Series, Black Diamond Classic Trekking Poles, Komperdell Carbon FXP, BioLite Headlamp 200, Nitecore NU17, ProteGear A Live, Gobel Swing Backpack.
