This couple are fun and obviously enjoy their hobby. Although based purely in and around Kansas in the US, it is still enjoyable entertainment. Although not a true 'Videocast' service, but more a professionally produced series of small films, these top quality clips will have you booking up to follow in TGO John Manning's footsteps in no time! Tell It On the Mountain is a multi-part documentary series full of tall tales and alluring lore from the Pacific Crest Trail. Compiled from video diaries of those doing it, they really are a pleasure to watch.

Robert T Butler III specializes in interviews with US hikers who are walking the Appalachian Trail mostly, and each one brings their own personality and ideas behind their approach to such an achievement. There's also interviews with US manufacturers and designers, so lots of interesting concepts which may or may not work in the UK. Food for thought.

Steve Sergeant and Jean Higham have produced a series of programs presenting news and features to help you explore the Earth's remaining wild places. Each week, they publish a 6 - 10 minute documentary piece specifically for people who enjoy wilderness recreation. Their approach is to bring to you interesting and thought provoking content, always keen to educate and inform in a gentle US conversational style.
