It has just been announced that Backpackinglight Audio (now part of The Outdoors Station) have won the UK Business Podcaster of the year, by the 2009 European Podcast Awards.
Its a team effort, as well as a family one, and all of us, myself, Rose, Beth, Andy and Shirley are grateful for the support and nominations, of what is in the main part, just sharing the passion, love and appreciation for the great outdoors.
Yes it is self funded in the main, however in the future we may seek sponsorship in some form or other to help balance the time, effort and costs on keeping the whole thing live and vibrant.
