This stove was introduced into the UK in 2008 and was extremely popular with backpackers and bushcrafters.
However after a series of manufacturing inconsistencies the sale of this item was dropped in the UK and it is now only available from Holland at Qvist Outdoors.
However the Wood Gas principle is a truly excellent one and hopefully the UK will see their own model someday soon.
Based on the same scientific wood gas principles as the Canadian Bush Buddy, this stove burns organic matter and saves weight on long distance trips. It will also work in hand with certain Meths stoves, making for an even more flexible cooking unit. Apart from anything else, it is great to sit around in the
evening and warm the cockles of your heart!
